I have seen numerous messages about folks having got a BCT8 but could not figure out how to make it work. RR member Bullmax did a terrific job of explaining how to get it to trunk (there have been many questions about this very topic) some time ago, and it has been copied into our wiki...

THANKS!!!!! I could not figure out why My scanner wasn't tracking the rebanded type II system properly even after the firmware update! Now I see why!
