Made the leap to a Pro-96 ,used .In great condition got a copy of the manual online . I thought I saw a thread on here about 96 accessories. Are the accessories still available ........yellow batt. holder, cary case, prog. cable etc.......?Meanwhile I'll most likely be pulling out hair figuring out /learning all about the thing, quite a jump from a Pro-74 to this! Anyone in or near Franklin Co. that would be able to offer guidance will be welcomed.

Ask in the Pennsylvania forum about Franklin county. Sometimes local help is the best kind - although it's universally acknowledged that getting a USB cable (assuming your PC doesn't have a serial port, as most newer ones don't) and Win96 from Starrsoft, along with a premium subscription (so you can download data directly from the database here) are the ways to go. The following are some relevant links...

The battery holder is the same as the one in the Pro-106 (and others I am sure, just don't know which ones myself)

Case you can get at scannermaster.

Cable, the USB cable will probably be easier to find.
