• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

Finally had it will FCC search, so I built my own tool

Now, several folks are asking about donations. Any recommendations on where to take donations from? I see Buy Me a Coffee, Ko-fi, and Paypal as options. I am adding ads in a few weeks and am not a huge fan of people with their hand out.

Dev is adding map pins to the adjacent/co channel results.

In regards to CPS 2.0................ under strict NDA, but that should be better than "Sorry, nothing you can do."

Fantastic site, TT. Amazingly fast on various Android browsers. I'm just happy to get results from the FCC site, and your site kinda freaked me out coming back so fast with answers. Thank you very much!

@TampaTyron , your search works wonderfully, much appreciated. I have a few requests, if possible:

1) When searching by "Point Radius", could there be an option to sort results by distance from the given point?

2) In the "Eligibility" zone under the "Land Mobile Data" section, a lot of licenses have a narrative along with the Part 90 section callout. Would it be possible to include that narrative?

3) Could you include a search criteria for authorization type ("Auth Type")?
Regular / Special Temporary / Both

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Google told me that the website is not valuable to advertisers. So, I may pimp it out to sales people in my company.

It is getting 1-3k hits a day. Approx 2k "impressions" for folks looking into radio stuff should be worth something.

Maybe I need some Autism awareness ads.

Is there a GoFundMe, and how much would it take to keep it ad-free for a year?

Well........ Google AdSense told me to pound sand as a mirror of gov data is not worth it to put ads on. I don't want a low tier ad provider because the site will turn to pop up hell.

I could auction an ad to the Sales People at the radio shop I work at, but I just put a simple who I am and how to contact me at the bottom of the page if people have radio problems. This is pointed to normies with radio issues, not other radio professionals.

If you want to donate, there are Paypal and BuyMeACoffee links.

In reality, I use it so much and so do the folks I work with that I don't want it painted over with BS ads.
