Findings:BCD396T w/w.o a RS-800mhz ant.

I have come to a weird conclusion about the stock and RS-800Mhz ant.

My finding were from listening to the same Digital Ch. over a period of 2 weeks on each.

They both performed =, Also the reception was =. , Weird thing is this.

RS Ant. Added a "Tad" of "Tone" to the Audio.

You can clear that up with a good power cable for the scanner's AC adapter. Unfortunately, it probably costs more than the scanner:

Sorry I meant to say "Treble", Not tone.

I agree with your findings on the RS800 ant vs the GRE500 stock antenna...Here in ILL on the new 700/800 Starcom digital system i see a "very" slight edge on the RS800 on the 800mgz and the stock antenna being a little better on 700mgz.....My Opinion!
