Another instance of short-sighted decision making by our public servants. According to the article, the police shoot a armed man who is running away and the chief sees that as a danger to the officer's safety.

Sounds like the chief is just another paranoid type.. When the real deal hits the bank books, the encryption may not last very long lol...
