Got in on this a little late, but there is a fire at the Ski Resort, Reported single story, with roof collapse.
I believe it is the power house, power is out in the area. Also, a heart attack victim in the clinic to compound problems. A lot of traffic congestion, units having trouble getting to the scene. Deputies handling inbound traffic, with CHP handling outbound traffic. Calling for OES involvement. I'm thinking, anyone stuck on the lifts? They wanted a water tender, units coming from Woodfords. Sounds like a really big deal to me.
All this was on 153.800, 107.2 pl. Radio traffic has quietened down some now. Time 3:23pm.

Fire Shuts Kirkwood Lifts Early

Blaze Breaks Out At Power Plant

ALPINE COUNTY, Calif. -- A power plant fire forced ski lifts at Kirkwood Mountain Resort to close early on Friday, but officials were taking steps to have things running again by Saturday.
The blaze started at about 2 p.m. on the roof of a power plant, a resort official said. No injuries were reported.
Lifts stopped operating at about 2:10 p.m. Lifts usually stay open until 4 p.m.
An alternate power source was expected to be in place by 4 p.m. to serve the local community.
Kirkwood is located just off Highway 88 in Alpine County.
