Fire com

Don't want to ask a stupid question but noticed on numerous county databases that there is a fire com channel obviously it fire communications but who uses them?? I have both ocean and monmouth counties programmed no activity?? Can some one clue me in.

When you say "various databases" are you referring to the databases here on RR? If so, where are the Firecom frequencies for Monmouth & Ocean Counties listed? I checked both databases and don't see them posted.

I have it noted that's it's in Howell Twp., maybe the Southard water tower. I also have it noted that 461.275 PL 103.5 is an old frequency and that the new, or current one, is 462.250 PL PL 114.8. I can't verify that, however, as I don't monitor it.

Fire Com South was at the Southard Fire House on Rt.#9. I used to be a member when I lived back in NJ. I do not know how much it is used any more.
