Hey could anyone give me the correct frequencies for the following counties in Florida.

Dixie
Lafayette
Taylor
Gilchrist
Levy
Madison

I would also like the PL numbers for these frequencies as well... I just want to make sure I have the right ones before I go to program them into my scanner also include the town fire department channels that I may hear from say Dixie County.

Ok. I have all of these already. WHAT I NEED is the FIRE CHANNELS for DIXIE COUNTY. If no one has these frequencies please say so. I have all the other stuff that everyone else has posted. But no one is giving me the Frequencies for just that one county. Again I would appreciate it if someone would produce the fire frequencies for JUST DIXIE COUNTY.

Seems like no one has that specific, confirmed frequency. However, Dixie county, being such a small rural county, doesn't have that many frequencies total. If you are willing to do a little detective work, go to

http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/reports/callsign.cfm

and explore these callsigns: WQEX664 & WQFH885 (look like they are most likely sheriff freqs); KKC960 (looks like EMS); WNUE989 (looks like school board).

What's left over are WNRT535 with freq of 453.35 and WNJM523 with 153.845 & 156.015. One of these three freqs would be my first guess to try out, and if they don't work, you could try the freqs for ALL the callsigns, cause there aren't that many.

When you find the right freq, post to the database so we can all take advantage of what you figure out.

I should be able to get any Dixie frequencies you want tomorrow. As of now, you just want any fire tact channels?

Ok I talked to a guy that works for EMS, and used to volunteer. He's not sure of the exact frequency, but he does know for sure that there is only 1 tac channel for fire. He thinks it's either 153.185 or 154.185. If I find out any more I'll let you know.

Neither 153.185, nor 154.185 are licensed for anyone in Dixie county. Further, 154.185 doesn't seem to be a "standard" frequency.... but of course stranger things have happened.

However, maybe his info is a bit fuzzy and the actual is 153.845 which is licensed to Dixie county.

I've just emailed the county and asked them. Maybe they will respond tomorrow. I'll share anything I learn.

UPDATE- The EMA director just responded that 153.845 is the correct Dixie county fire frequency. Sometimes all you gotta do is ask!

I submitted the freq to the data base administrator. If you get the PL (or confirm any other freqs) send them in. There isn't much avail for Dixie county.

I also don't know the freq for Levy county FD
