I wonder if anyone has copied the NXDN trunking system at Fire Mountain (Hard Rock Casino) in Wheatland Yuba county.
I have the system programed in my Whistler TRX-2, an I live 4 miles away and have not heard
or seen any control channel activity.

The Toyota amphitheater UHF DMR comes in great.

I mapped out that system when it first came online, but I haven't been up since to verify if the information is still accurate. I will say, I had to basically be in the parking lot to get a good decode, and on recent trips up north, I've plugged in the frequencies for the system in conventional mode and tried to receive them via Highway 70 and have been unsuccessful.

I was able to swing by the casino and confirm the frequency order in the database is correct, all frequencies are in use and the control channel is 451.00625, with a system ID of 460.

Back in my Radio Technician days, the Hotel and Resorts I worked with, it was very common (unless they had vast outdoor areas) to just have indoor antennas, and feed each floor with a directional coupler.
I suspect this is exactly what they're doing at Fire Mountain. It puts the signal where they need it, and keeps prying ears out as much as possible. Really the only reason to have an outdoor antenna spraying signal all around is if you've got shuttle busses or a massive pool/outdoor area to cover.

Thanks for the information.
Toyota is color code 6 and both slots are active.
There is a lot of activity tonight, another concert.
