I'm in Dane county, and here 154.4000 is used more or less as a fire coordination channel. But every so often, I will hear tones and a fire department being dispatched on this frequency. The readability on the signal is fairly low. Anyone happen to know where this signal would be coming from? I know WI has a lot of counties registered with this frequency; so I'm guessing it's just some VHF ducting from another county?
