Hi All,

I'm trying to setup something to capture the Ottawa Fire pages from there POCSAG system but I need something that is a little more active that OFS to do testing with.
Are there any freq's in Ottawa that are active with POCSAG paging? I tried PageNet but that is Flex.

Try that frequency. That is what I was told from a guy who ran KGTN system when we set ours up.

It's a paging system for hospitals and pretty much anything

Unless Ottawa is different, all the activity I have heard on .77 is two tone. I am not aware of .77 being used for FD. It's EMS.

I used that freq when I set my PDW for Leeds & Grenville to fine tune and was getting Kingston General Hospital, Smith Falls delivery companies.

PDW pages out 100 percent after using it to fine tune

And if you can successfully decode FLEX you should have no problem decoding POCSAG.
