Fire Tone Outs and Scanning BC996D ?

Is it possible to monitor fire toneouts while scanning or does the scanner have to stay in firetone out mode to monitor toneouts?

one or the other on all of the scanner's that do fto.

Not sure what the above response means... You have to put it in dedicated FTO mode to get the toneouts. No scanning.

If it is in the Fire Tone Out stand by mode you will not hear anything unless it gets an alert.
