Fire weather

anyone heard on th thier scanners called fire weather?
I heard it on every week on the fire band frequencies. it is what you say kind of interesting to hear.
you can't hear it on the weather frequencies.

I have been wondering about uhf weather,
in the summer I would listin to forestry

They are just giving the forecast thats all. There are certain conditions that warrant fire weather watches or warnings

I listen to the fire weather report every morning, DOF reads it to the crews.

The SOP I hear on the NJFFS channels are two: (1) mid-morning Trenton collects weather conditions from each tower, in a roll call, and a bit later (2) Trenton broadcasts a weather forecast, including fire danger, systemwide.

and yet I await for gre psr 310 scanner.
some where there is a frequencies to hear those large fire fighting plane and those huge skycranes copter that help out too
