10-4! Loveland engine 3 is there and Berthoud. I believe a few others too. Started out by a caller saying there was a fire in a field near her house. Flames were 4-6 '.

I'm listening to Loveland TG3 and 4. 4 is patched.

TG2 is now active.

Fire near Carter Lake

Using Fern 2 & 3
Fern 3 patched to Loveland fireground 3.

Awaiting SEATS drop, heard activity on 172.325.

Numerous units onscene, and numerous agencies backfilling Loveland Fire Stations.

Tankers Air to Air, Air to Ground

Airtankers are using:
127.325 for Air to Air "am"
172.325 for Air to Ground "nfm"

Sounds like they now have an "Air Attack" airplane to coordinate the drops.
Tankers 452, 178.
TFR (Temporary Flight Restrictions) now in place for this incident, for the airtankers.

Oops, that might have been from an air show at the Fort Collins/Loveland airport. So my sister tells me. Although, I have been listening to air traffic all day, didn't sound like an air show was going on. Maybe it was a few planes parked there.

Well now he just past right over head! That must be him. Looked to be going to Greeley.

I'm in Loveland btw.

Fire and airplanes at FNL

The FNL airport is hosting a B-24, B-17, B-25 and P-51 exhibit and rides.

It sounds like there's a fire working up west of Loveland. I haven't gotten a good location figured out but they are working on FERN3. Been at it all afternoon.
