Firefighter fundrasier Saturday Sept. 9th!

Fundraiser will be held Sept. 9 at Stoney Ridge Campground in Skiatook. It is located 2 miles west of the last stoplight on Hwy-20. All events begin at 11 a.m. There will be vendors, concessions, a car show, a bike show, contests between fire departments, and lots of great music. Entertainers will include firefighter and singer Dennis Beyer, Elvis, Chassi Crawford, Paul Amstutz, The Bad Luck Bluez Band, Darrel Cole, and more. The fundraiser proceeds will go to help several rural volunteer fire departments: Avant, BlackDog, Country Corner, Morgans Corner and Turley.

Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, $5 for seniors and free to children 5 and under.

Offer a little do dad or knick knack for RR folks. I'd be interested to know how many RR people show up to that. It's nice to see fundraisers for local volunteer departments.

Elvis is going to be there huh? I can't believe you got him away from Vegas. The real Elvis has been hiding out in Vegas for a long time now. What better place to hide out right?
