Firmware update

I have tried recently to update firmware and database on both my 100 and 200 on two diff computers resulting in error message of remote server sent back yada yada yada.......update cancelled.
Any thoughts?

Turn on the scanner before your plug in the cable. When you plug in the cable, the scanner display should say press E to enter USB Mass Storage. Press E. When you try to update the firmware, you should see your scanner model and serial number in the popup window. Who is your internet service provider?

I'm surprised you haven't had issues, as other folks on T-Mobile say they block FTP. Unfortunately Sentinel uses that for their file transfers.

With that info switched computer Wi-Fi over to phone hotspot (is how I use to do it) and away it went. Thanks for the input!

Another victim of T-Mobile! That is why I asked the question.

I made sure this was not an issue when i switched to Verizon 5G Home Internet. both sentinel and ezscan work perfectly.

My t-mobile works fine for update using my phones hotspot.
