I am pretty sure he's looking for the firmware.

I just checked my psr500C (the Canadian version) and it appears I am behind as well. I am at V1.7.

The GRECOM america site has cpu version 2.1 but its for US scanners and will not load on my Canadian scanner.

So, I am another user looking for this firmware. Does anyone happen to have this? It would be much appreciated.

I have one for the Canadian psr 600, is it the same file for the 500?

Version 2.1 appears to only have added/removed some of the frequencies used in certain service band searches which apply to US models.

The last CPU update for the Canadian PSR-500/600 was version 2.0. If you require this send me a private message and I'll send it your way. Also, the latest DSP update for all PSR-500/600 scanners is version 1.4 which may need updated also.
