Anyone in Madison know what radio system First Student busses are using?. Interesting to hear this whole train wreck of bussing MMSD students is. Channel 15 showed a driver talking on a Kenwood radio. No model or further description from what I could see and there was no audio of transmissions possibly detect an analog or digital audio.

Hello ????

First Student was on 452.875 PL 192.8. Not sure if still there or if they moved to a LTR or similar system. Good luck.

If confirmed Kenwood then NXDN may be a possibility so be sure your scanner(s) support(s) it. 452.875 on this license includes NXDN emissions. If no activity on the aforementioned analog frequency then plug in the frequency without a tone and see if they did indeed go NXDN. License was recently renewed so an NXDN migration could definitely be possible

They must have moved as noted frequency has been dead all day. Probably moved to one of the area trunked system, which one, who knows. Not a big deal, maybe I will do some hard hitting investigative work and try to find out.

I believe most of the first student bus terminals and buses have moved over to DigiTalk+ which is a push to talk (PTT) over cellular radio system so unfortunately there is no way to monitor
