Any tips on fitting SMA or BNC connectors to RG58C/U
Thats the one with the stranded center wire.
I find the contact pins are too small to fit over the stranded center wire.
I have tried cutting some of them off but it's a fiddly job.
Or I just push clothes pin up the center, cut the end off & solder it in.
I prefer the second method as it keeps the cable more rigid to insert into the connecter body.
