On the OneVoice DMR system on the NYC area sites:
Five Boro Bike Tour Ops
(with radio ID numbers in the 64000-65000 range)
200901 - COMMAND
200902 - START OPS
200903 - MANHATTAN
200904 - E RIVER/QUEENS
200905 - BROOKLYN
200906 - STATEN ISLAND
200907 - FIRST AID
200908 - REST AREA MGRS
200909 - REAR/HUFFY
200910 - SAG VEHICLES
200911 - FESTIVAL/FERRY
Additional radio channels will be UHF simplex for the various on-site operations along the route.
Expect activity to start by 6AM with a 6-step waved start from 7:30 to 11AM. All ops done by 6PM.
NYPD will have rolling closures and openings as the 30,000 strong bike tour passes through the area.
The FDNY/EMS will have units staged and responding to various sections of the route.
