I work for a courier service. We use Five9 Solutions for our radios and they have LTE for their coverage. Is there anyway that a scanner could retrieve these signals? We use the IP501H handhelds.

Sorry, but nope. LTE is PCS cellular based and no consumer scanner handles that format.

I'm seeing a lot of companies switch over to this. We have been on BearCom for awhile but the service is spotty at best. Coverage was terrible. We tested the LTE and we are fully satisfied with the coverage.

The only issue so far is we have a six radio set up. If one person talks, only half of us hear them and that's not happening all the time. Just some of the time. So there is some bugs they need to work out still.

LTE uses the cell system. If your out of range or did not affiliate properly then it does what your experiencing.
