No.

You can't enter letters with the scanner keypad, so it wouldn't be useful even if you could.

Quick keys use only numbers so that they can be entered from the keypad and be displayed on the screen in the upper left corner. Instead of using a 2 digit code for each character, you can name a favorites list by selecting the characters using the rotary control on top of the scanner. It is far easier to use Uniden Sentinel.

That is one thing I liked about my PSR-500. Having an alpha/numeric key pad.
The keyboard on the PSR-500 is not a true alpha-numeric keyboard. You cannot select and send a single letter when scanning. Instead, you have to use a chart to enter letters when editing text tags.

For the Uniden scanners, text is selected and entered by using the scroll knob when at the correct screen for tag entry. And again, there is no way to select a single letter while scanning.

So the only way to remember what FL quit keys you assign to a system is to remember the number? Because when you turn it off and on it doesn't show you the name of the system.

+ 1 on the above, something like "F00 My Favorite" which has a Quick Key Number of 00. (You can carry this method on for System and Department Quick Keys too).

If you forget numbers, you can just scroll through the FLs via the menu (Manage Favorites). Even better if you have them sorted as they are programmed to the scanner. That's something you set up in Sentinel (Edit>Sort Favorites Lists)

I realize this. I owned a psr500 and own a sds100. You can enter text on the 500 with out going into the menu. I got pretty fast entering text on the 500 with out looking at the chart and I didn't have to hit 2 or 3 buttons to enter a menu then 3 or 4 to get back out. Don't get me wrong, I love my 100. Its just for me personally I found it faster on the 500 to enter text.
