I am seeing the future and it worries me, closed law enforcement communications, DHS, totalitarianism is coming and i am not saying this lightly, think about it, we are letting it happen everyday in the name of security, the name homeland for example, not only is this used for the first time but greatly reminds me of the terms "Fatherland", or in russia "Motherland", but this tend towards encrypting everything scares me, the governments do it in the name of our security, trust me a terrorist organization as well funded as hezbollah and al queida can acquire the hardware and know how to decrypt the transmissions anyway,.
a comprimise solution would possibly be to offer recieve only radios for purchase with registration and a background check (No Felonies,etc) now i could live with that.

I have to agree on that. We can not trust the Governments anyways like the DHS head guy got arrested for child porn or something like that. They have it their way I guess. It's okay from them to screw up and break laws we do it they get pissed off. It's okay for them to spy on us while in our homes seeing what we are doing.. but we do that to them they get mad and have us arrested for it that is lame I say.... Nope it is not worth 2 cents.

Wondering if anyone in Flagler Co got any TG yet. I am not able to do that til Wed when I head home LOL. I see the Freq's are up but not sure what are the CC yet. If I see any TG come up I'll post them up.

i know here we all have acces to each others talk groups. however we never go on ploice channels they always come to our channels and clutter it up. i hate it when it happens because we have a certain way about acting on the radio which when the police come over to the fire channel its like an untrained kid over the mic.
I think if you took out all the way-too-long-signatures the entire usable content of this thread would fit on one screen...

I have heard that before. I wonder if the scanner makers will offer a huge amount of money to say please say yes! Never know money talk BS walks. grem467 sorry for the confusen. My buddy told me and I saw the TG for them but wasn't sure if it was Digital or not. I'm not able to hear Jax at all since I live near a bad area. I wonder if I can pick up Flagler now since they are not on digital.

The ProVoice transmissions I hear sound MUCH better than P25, so I'm not sure where your comment comes from.
Ma/Com is I hear sucks here bad even FHP is saying that. They even had a story on here about it. I wonder how long before Flagler will complain about it like FHP?
i heard from people that are using the system and they said its ****. point blank i`m not trying to down it or anything like i said i could careless.
Using ProVoice or EDACS or OpenSky or what? There is no such thing as a "ProVoice" system, that's just the scheme used to turn analog voice into digital bits. ProVoice digital transmissions sound better than P25 digital transmissions.

I have put a submit on the sid it came up with 21 CC 867.36250 what I got. I haven't heard any talking yet but did hear SO on VHF mode. I'll try to get CC again during the day...

One thing i`ve notice in the short time i have been here gem. Is these people will argue with anything you say. On a day where i`m feeling down i`ll just come on here and make some wack comment and sit back and laugh at all the idiots i get in going in a frenzy. Reminds me that life isnt so bad. If there are retards like this in the world that can be controlled like a puppet and any given monment.
