flashing scanlist number

I have 4 scanlists enabled and the number 3 keeps flashing does this mean its scanning only that scan list?

press #3 on the keypad. if scanner then says "nothing to scan", then the answer is yes

The flashing number indicates that there are no scanable objects in that scanlist.
