Hi Folks, if you are wondering where the Flathead County updates are coming from - they are coming from me. We just bought a Condo up on Big Mountain, and I've finally brought a scanner to get things updated.
Things are surprisingly quiet - I like to take the 396 to the summit of Big Mountain and monitor the Ski Patrol and FRS channels with ear buds as I ski down.
Fire and Rescue around here are really quite, and it seems the State Patrol is the most active. Most interesting is the fact that Border Patrol operations are very active here... I hear Border Patrol units in the clear patroling the areas for Ski Mobile tracks etc.
