Fleetnet/BCT-15 Question

What can I pick up, if anything, from Bell Fleetnet on a Uniden BCT-15? Mainly interested in GTA (Peel, York, Toronto, Halton etc..) related stuff.

Any Talkgroup that has Mode A for analog. BCT15 is an analog only scanner.

You'll be able to get the EMS (York, Mississauga, Simcoe, Oshawa, Halton, etc). The MTO highway maintainence talkrgroups are also on Fleetnet. Take a look at this link:

If you look under the Mode column of each section, the BCT15 will be able to monitor anything that says A (analog).

oh really? i always thought fleetnet was all digital until this mornign when my buddy said that there are some analog talkgroups on there.

Heh, Hodet and I were both typing the same reply at the same time!

As you've seen from that list, a LOT of it (OPP) is digital, but it's definitely a system worth listening to. For example, by just listening to the King City tower, I can hear the EMS from Brampton to Oshawa, Vaughan to Orillia. Kinda cool.

one more thing, do you guys know which system Peel EMS is on?

They are on Fleetnet , use tower 009 and you will find all talkgroups listed in the Mississauga CACC listing.
