FleetNet on DSD+

I see on here you are using DSD+ to monitor FleetNet and I have just been using TRUNK88 to do it. I would like to try it using DSD+.

So just wondering if anyone on here could help me and let me know what I need to do and enter in to set DSD+ up to monitor FleetNet. Like the settings and all that. I never tried it on FleetNet before. So I don't know what all I need to do and get it set up to monitor Fleetnet here.

Or send me a screen shot of the settings if that would be easier instead of typing it all out. Doesn't matter.

So if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks

FleetNet doesn’t ball with DSDPlus. The posts you’re seeing are looking at the new P25 System (LMRN)

Stick to Unitrunker or T88 for the FleetNet logging.
Oh, okay. I thought it worked with FleetNet as well, so was going to give it a try. So it's just for monitoring the new LMRN encrypted system. Didn't know all those posts with pics of the tower freq's and all that was all for the new system, thought it maybe was for FleetNet as well.

Will stick with TRUNK88 until they eventually change over here, when ever that will be. Then will ask again for help on how to set up DSD+ to monitor the new system, just like you guys are doing, even though everything is encrypted except MTO Maintenance.

Thanks

It’s very good overall for analyzing and discovering digital frequencies in a variety of flavours - P25, NXDN, DMR (and its many variants). If you like scanning around and sorting out data, it’s quite fun. It comes with pretty good instructions and is quite easy to get going on P25 systems.

You can also give Unitrunker (Version 2) a shot - it’s an excellent graphical interface for logging the system, I used it to decode both FleetNet and the new system as it was coming up, simultaneously.

Yes DSD+ is good for all that. I pretty much just use it to monitor DMR and NXDN to get info from.

Yeah, I can maybe give it a try but for the time being will stick with TRUNK88, which is the main program I have been using for FleetNet. I've been using it the whole time and still using until they finally switch over, when ever that will be.

Not to hijack the thread but the latest DSDFastlane V5.05 or just released v5.06 now supports decoding the OTA( over air alias) or "talker alias' data on LMRN. This means you can now ID the radio that is active on the TG. I may start a new thread on this new feature.
