Fleetnet Zone 1 - Talkgroup 38048

I caught some analog chatter on 38048 this morning between about 9:30 and 10 off the Byron tower. My Pro-106 showed 2 radios (38416 - 'Bill' and 39518 - 'George') as they were chatting away. It sounded more like radio guys chatting than anything MTO related... One of them was just going over the Skyway (said he would be 'there' in 10 minutes) and were meeting somewhere to do a radio demo of some sort (heard one of them mention 'model 3' radios) and they were discussing various performance issues with current portables and mobiles.

Seemed a little odd to be on an MTO Common channel.

I have heard XLS 445 call Stacey Electric before on the MTO Common, but I never got a radio id for them.

I regularly hear patrols giving road conditions out on TG 38048 off the Sunderland tower.
