Fleetnet Zone 2 sounds

Anyone else hearing the odd beeps at the end of radio transmissions in Zone 2?

I've heard them on the Ottawa, Kingston East and I believe Renfrew EMS as well as on some MTO transmissions.

Just an odd beep to hear on random transmissions.

No it's not the beeps on my end either that can be programmed specific to talkgroups or channels. This is definitely on their end.

I know exactly what your referring to as I have been hearing those beeps on Zone 1 EMS and MTO. Mainly at the beginning or sometimes midway through transmissions. Usually, when a unit cuts the dispatcher off, or two units are going car to car. I believe it's a Motorola trunking specific noise. (Thats the best way I can describe it) I've heard it on other Motorola SmartNet/Smartzone systems in the past also.

I've only started noticing it in the last few days to a week, I forget, but I've never heard it before just recently though.

For those not aware, it's not the regular "bonk" noise.
