Where can I fiind information on the 500's FlexStep feature in the instruction manual? I've been looking through my hard copy and have done searches throughout the PDF with no luck.

Its's possible that feature hasn't been documented yet. The last time the manual was revised was back in February of this year according to GRE's website. So alot of the newer features that have been added via Firmware updates since then have not been documented yet nor a newer verison of the manual been released yet.

I keep a file made from the wiki here, forum posts, and Yahoo posts. What I saved about flex step is below. This may have been posted by Don Starr but I'm not sure.
Flex Step: "Super Expert Setting Menu". PGM, FUNC F3:GLOB Scroll down to
"flexStep" and Rt-Arrow it to "On" F1:Save. FlexStep allows entry of
frequencies that are a multiple of 1250 Hz except in the civil air band 108-136
where the step size is fixed at 8.333 kHz.

Though I'm not sure what the new Pro-106's printed manual that comes with it might say about the FlexStep since I haven't seen it's manual yet. I would think it's manual would be more up to date in terms of the features since it just came out and if so why GRE hasn't bothered to update the 500's manual is anybody's guess.
