I heard a rumor that the dam at Hula lake broke yesterday?

I woke up today at noon and my ocean front property was gone. ;)

Today it has been raining hard for just a few minutes, then it quits and the sun comes out for a little while, and then another round of the same thing. I went outside awhile ago and looked around in the yard to see if I could find any fish swimming around.

It sure is cool! I just heard they are letting several thousand cubic feet of water out of copan lake to avoid retention failure?? I guess this means the lake is above capacity and the dam/levy could break. Thats probably not good for the downstream folks..

you need the following things:
1) a scanner
2) a computer with a sound card
3) an 3.5mm audio cable with both male ends
4) a broadband connection
(the following is how i have mine setup)
5) Winamp
6) Winamp DSP plugin
7) Shoutcast server
8) someone who knows how to configure everything.

car2back:
no Hula didn't break although Corps of Engineers found a crack in the dam yesterday and ordered and immediate 100% opening of the gates to relieve some pressure. cause if it was to completly give, most of Bartlesville and communities south would be underwater.

FireMedic712:
at 1:00pm today they were supposed to open Copan 100%

here is the links for the COE Copan and Hula lakes data:
http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/HULA.lakepage.html
http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.mil/COPA.lakepage.html

according to some people (and my own observations) this is going to be like the 1986 flood and cut Bartlesville in half.
