Anyone know who 944.0MHZ pl 118.8 belongs to? It is a conventional or microwave link. A amber alert was broadcast over it and it was the same voice and recording heard broadcast on the FM radio stations with the alert tones. Curfew.

sounds like its an uplink, but i am not personaly famaliar with this freq...

May be where it can only be heard there, i don't know. I stumbled on it out there and may have been in it's path. I don't beleive it was a image because i was getting that pl tone on it.

If im not mistaking there are studio to transmitter links used in that region used by stations, this is probably what it was. C.
