Does anybody know how I could possibly monitor/listen to this system here within DSD+?

Whenever I try to tune to the frequency listed for Tampa in SDRsharp, all I can hear is the School District channel at 454.65 MHz.

As long it's in digital mode with out encryption you'll be able to hear it...If it's encrypted you won't be able to hear anything.

Well according to the DB there's a mix of encrypted and unencrypted digital, but I was wondering mainly if anyone else has had a similar problem as me, or a way to get around it.

The only way you'll be able to get around the issue is get a NXDN handheld/mobile radio for that frequency. If you know someone around that area that is affiliated with that group and knows the system key/information that allows access to it then there you go. But I doubt they'll give you the information to it. Just being honest.

The 2 frequencies for Hillsborough County are showing as 454.25938 and 454.64063 (which I believe really means 454.259375 and 454.640625). Both are DEAD on the scanner (no activity). This system is prolly down or the frequencies have changed. 454.6500 is very close to 454.640625, so that's prolly why you're getting bleedover from the school system.

An NXDN radio is not the only option. You can decode it with DSD+ (you might need to buy the fast lane ver$ion). But I've monitored both these frequencies before and never heard a peep.

DSD+ is actually how I was looking to monitor the system and I was actually able to listen to it today while SDHC wasn't active on 454.6500. There were some talkgroups on there today (3233) that weren't in the database though!
