Miami-Dade Fire Rescue FL USAR FL-TF 1 has a 90-person team currently staged in Orlando.
When they move into the affected areas they will use the below-listed frequencies with the Repeater Freqs not yet available until they set them up.
If you live in the area just set your scanner to "Close Call" Range 406-413mhz and you will receive all the federal assets of USAR and Federal DMAT (Disaster Medical Assitance Teams) deployed near you.
Boat Teams will also be using Marine Channel 16 VHF 156.800mhz as necessary.
MDFR USAR FL-TF1 operates Motorola XTS5000 portables and will be on 412.850 141.3PL BOTH in Analog and P25 Digital Modes Duplex (Repeater) and Simplex (Talk Around) and at the BOO (Base of Operations) will be a bank of XTL5000s and Various APX's through the repeaters or stand-alone 35-40 watts.
I have also attached the Florida SARNET Map. ALL of the repeaters have generator backups.
Be Safe out there.
