OK then, people do not buy scanners to listen to FM broadcast radio.

The biggest reason that FM broadcast is not included in scanners is because it requires a different descriminator. It's one thing to have a circuit which handles 10, 15 or 25 khz bandwidth of a channel. But quite a stretch to make that circuit also work for 200 khz bandwidth. While nice, it is NOT a co$t I want included in a scanner. There's a lot better places to spend the money toward improving the design

I might still buy it anyway, I never said I wouldn't. I just need more time to read what everyone think's about this radio before I buy it.

It is a nice looking radio would look good next to my 396:) Thank's for the info. I may buy it before or after december I just want more more review's.

I add scannermaster.com to my favorites

The main thing that stopped me is software does anyone know if software to program the PSR will be out soon? It would be a real pain to program any radio without software

WIN500 is not out yet
ARC500 is due in December

PSREdit v1.0 was released tonight.
