Does anyone know what Frequencies the local High School football teams use for their headsets?

I shoot sports freelance for the local newspaper(s) and this season brought my BR-330T to games and close call came up blank. After a couple of games of coming up dry, decided to look more closely at the head sets. I found all teams are using the Porta Phone systems. It turns out they use spread secrtum technology which is not scanable. (So much for knowing the play to get a better shot.)

I wonder if its possible to scan Spread Spectrum...Thanks for the information though, and to bad, it would have been fun to listen to though.
