For Any Butel Users (BCD436): Re FAV List Saving

Hello,

Have a new BCD 436, and am playing around with the Butel software
for it to see how I like it compared to Sentinel. Running Windows 10.

Two questions, please:

With the Butel, no problems in writing to, or reading from, the scanner.
Seems to work fine.

a. But once I have all the FAV lists showing in Butel, I cannot seem to
create a single backup file that has All the FAV lists in it.

Would also like to pull up this (single) file to make changes to the
various FAV in it in it without having to read from the scanner each time.

I seem to be able to save as individual files for each FAV.

Is there any way of creating (and saving) a single, integrated file with all of the Favorite’s in it,
or must one do it for each individual FAV separately ?

Have tried just about all the Save As in the menu and tabs, etc., but all that ever appears is
a file for single System, it seems.

b. And where do I enter the FIPS numbers for the NOAA Weather broadcasts
in Butel ?

Butel, and Sentinel for that matter, save each Favorites List as a separate file. Both use the HPD file extension. Nothing you can do to consolidate them as one big old file. I suggest using Windows Explorer to make back-up copies of Favorites List files. (Even better if you just get another SD card and use that for back-ups - gives you a spare SD card if needed.)

FIPS is something set in the Profile side. ARC only deals with Favorites Lists and not Profiles.
