Hello,

It's been a few years now since playing with my GRE PSR 500, and it's amazing how much I
forgot. Will blame it on old age now.

I have Don Starr's software for it. Have downloaded the latest version.
Have the following questions, please:

a. Has there ever been a HELP file generated for his 500 software ?

b. I want to enter some Mass. State Police (MSP) frequencies from the RRef.com Database.
As an example, one of them is 857.98750 and also has "Site 005" under the Description Column,
and "TRS" under the Service Tag Column. (what does TRS mean ?)

If you could tell me where on the pages that come up for his software, and Exactly how to enter frequencies like this, I would be most appreciative.

I know it's pretty basic, but I just don't recall how to do it. In my 70's now.
Really specific instructions would be most helpful.

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Step by step, using "Really specific instructions", is the way I fly. However, I see you do not have an RR Premium Membership? $30 a year (I think). Without that, it's probably too many steps for even myself, lol. You see, I'm also "In my 70's now".

Thanks,
Rob

It means it's a frequency used by their State Trunked Radio System (TRS). You will need to program to properly trunk the TRS system to follow the talk groups assigned to the various entities.
