Here is my mobile shack:
I only have my Uniden BCT15X and a Uniden 510XL CB.
Both antennas are installed under the plastic where the wipers are. I tried one of those hood mounts but really hated the way it looked.
I also have two KC Daylighters mounted behind the grill:
It's currently mounted to the overhead rear controls and random compartments. I wasn't sure how else to mount it and make it more stable since there was really nothing between the roof and the padding. I currently don't like it there and since reading WX4EMT thread (http://forums.radioreference.com/pi...p/223058-2011-tahoe-ppv-install-new-post.html), now I want to make my install look more professional.
I'm sure you can all get the idea of the look I was going for.
And at home, I just running my Uniden SC230. Looking to get something bigger and better for home. I have an external antenna mounted to our balcony which helps reception.
Sorry I don't have more, but hope you enjoy.
