See the following news release that may have escaped the public eye back in April. The State of Georgia is receiving $20M from US Homeland Security for funding to enhance four regional TRS systems:
1. Southeast Georgia Radio Network (Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, etc counties)
2. West Central Georgia Radio Network (Columbus TRS + LaGrange-Troup TRS)
3. Western Area Radio Network (Carroll, Heard, Haralson and Douglas)
4. Northwest Radio Network (Catoosa, Walker and Dade)
