The Nassau County, NY, EDACS system, just posted to the RRDB, has a total of 276 TGIDs in 31 groups. While the groups are arbitrary the number of TGIDs isn't.

I guess Uniden never thought a system could get that large, but Nassau County is probably the largest county in the US, so its radio systems would be large also.

Any hope of an expansion of TGIDs (and maybe groups) in a future update? I guess I'll just have to put them in as 2 systems for now.

How about just narrowing down what you want to listen to? Do you really need to monitor Uniondale Building Maintenance or Old Brookville Water Dept? :lol: BTW when you say that Nassau County is the largest county in the US, are you referring to population or area? Because area wise it's only 287 square miles, compared to a county like Elko in Nevada which is 17,179 square miles.........and Suffolk County is larger than Nassau in both size and population......and yes I have too much time on my hands. :lol:

It takes too much processing time to scan more than 200 talkgroups... Either trim down your list or make two systems.

I probably would if I lived in Uniondale or Old Brookville (talk about contrasts - slums or mansions). I was just trying to get away from having to manually massage the .usd file.

Well ... it's an often-repeated claim, but I don't know how true it is. It probably refers to population.

Just for reference, Los Angeles County covers over 4000 square miles and had 10.2 million people as of 2004.
