Forest Grove PD - Records

From time to time I will hear traffic on talk group 58640 in Washington County. This is listed as Forest Grove PD Records in the database and the NW Frequency Directory, but I have never heard any records access on that channel, which I think they use Service Net for anyway. It's mostly Tac traffic, anyone else verify that with me?

I always miss that channel...I have it logged as a hit (lots of hits, mind you), but I've never heard anything. Sorry!

I've heard it being used as a chat channel along with Cornelius PD DET too.

They both use that channel as a 'tac' or 'chat' channel.... Usually unit-to-unit stuff. I think FG has a records clerk during the day time, and sometimes they will call a FG unit on SO 1 to go to channel 4.
