Forsyth County SmartZone

Has anyone out there heard if Winston-Salem/Forsyth County has any plans to upgrade their trunked system to P25? With Wake County transitioning later this year, I believe that leaves Winston-Salem as the last large metro area in NC still using a SmartZone system.

Yes, Winston Salem/Forsyth County is in the early stages of an update program. Saw some bid documents last month for the upgrade to P25. Not sure of time frame, but given the nature of the program it may a few years to completion once bid award.
