I know that it has been a while, but I was hoping that there might be a few fresh minds or new ideas out there. I'm still trying to track the Ft. L Wood 400mHz P-25 system with my Uniden BC796D. The problem that I'm facing is that the scanner is not recoginzing the CC and locks on it as a voice channel. I have tried everything that I can think of, even contact the useless Uniden Customer Svc. I can hear the sytem if I scan in conventional mode with the CC locked out. I know that the system can be tracked by Radio Shack scanners, but I can't get my Uniden to accept the Base of 403mHz that is listed in the RR database.
