The Fort Lupton DTRS 1955 TG ceased Dispatch communications as of the new year at 12 midnight. Fort Lupton is now being dispatched under the Local Law South TG 1946 along with all other law agencies in southern Weld County. Fort Lupton came to an agreement with Weld County Communications in order to save money, they have with in the last couple of months started using data terminals in all the cars along with switching TGs about 15mins ago. I have been trying to find the news article on this, but haven't yet.

Seems that Ft Lupton likes to change dispatch every 3 to 5 years. Years ago they were with Weld on UHF. Then they had their own own on VHF. Switched to with Adcom on VHF then switched to UHF then to DTRS. Switched back to Weld on DTRS now part of the Weld Local Law South group.

I wouldn't consider their old dispatch and Tac TG's as retired. 1955 will likely be called "city" and 1956 "Tac".
