Fort Lupton now on State APCO-25 System

Fort Lupton Police Department located in Weld County has just started using the State of Colorado APCO-25 DTRS system. They are using the talkgroup 01955. At this time it appears that the channel is being used for both dispatch and car-to-car use. It is my understanding that they are being dispatched by Adams County Communications Center (better known as ADCOM-911). The units are using call signs such as "2-Frank-62" and "Frank-20" which are classic ADCOM designators.

Eaton Fire (in Weld County) is also now on DTRS. As posted by Phil to some other lists yesterday. Id's 1921 - 1925 are the volunteer FD's.

Just confirmed by various comm on Weld Fire 800 TG's. Eaton Fire is now
officially full time 800 as of this morning.

Eaton Fire (in Weld County) is also now on DTRS. As posted by Phil to some other lists yesterday. Id's 1921 - 1925 are the volunteer FD's.

1921 through 1925 was the original plan for volunteer agencies then Greeley/Weld communications decided to realign the whole Fire 800 dispatch plan.

As it stands now the Weld fire TalkGroup plan is:

1907 Weld fire dispatch
1908 Fireground 2
1909 Fireground 3
1910 Fireground 4
1911 Fireground 5
1921 Fireground 6
1922 Fireground 7
1923 Fireground 8
1924 Fireground 9
1925 Fireground 10

Fireground 10 is in use by Evans Fire for routine radio traffic and fire training. Sort of like how they used the old 154.055 "City channel."

Fireground 9 has had routine radio traffic from Eaton since the switch.

Whether this will continue as fire agencies are evenutally added is not known at this point.

For whatever reason Union Colony (aka "Greeley") fire is still holding on to 453.150 for dispatching though eventually all Weld dispatched fire agencies will be dispatched on TalkGroup 1907.

OK... Now what is TG 1912 going to be used for if it's even going to be used? {WAN GRIN!} I could have sworn that I've caught a few `hits' that sounded like they were fire like but really haven't been able to concentrate on listening to it like I probably should be. (Sure wish RatShaft would get the PRO-2096 out soon. I'm getting tired of listening to the tinny speaker in the PRO-96 propped up on top of my computer speaker.)
