Anyone know anything about a Motorola Type II ASTRO SmartNet system at Fort McCoy?

Fort McCoy's website supplies a large amount of information on Base activities, but I couldn't find anything on the communication system used by the Military Police, Fire( 2 stations), and Public Works.

Got up there, and saw the civilian police are using ASTRO radios on VHF..no info on freqs, etc as I was only there for a short time.

I surprised my GPS unit worked as well as it did...figured DoD would have made the resolution suck, but it was right on while driving on the Fort.

In 1999 the Army was planning on implementing a trunked radio system at Fort McCoy, its unknown if it was ever constructed.
