Sounds like there is some type of emergency drill ongoing at Fort Meade.

Fire Operations are on Anne Arundel County "Hotel SOPS-1"

Howard County MAB-13 & Anne Arundel MAB-32 are on scene.

Me too, but happened to have Unitrunker running.

They have actually been intermittent on all 3 of these channels most of the afternoon, but seem to have escalated the drill in the last half hour or so with additional units from Howard County and possibly other counties. I recognize at least some Howard radio IDs.

Interestingly, there is no related activity on the Ft Meade JNCR system at all.

Are you certain the training TGs are involved? They had something going earlier - believe unrelated.

You are correct. The training channels are active at the fire Academy and still are. The Special Ops channel activity stopped a little while ago.

There were some radio problems - not sure if it was related to the Ft Meade exercise or the academy training. I was driving, so I couldn't watch the TGs affected. Several times units were asked to repeat messages. I also could not receive the problematic transmissions.
