I have not been able to hear any analog traffic on 165.0625 Fort Monroe MP's. I hear only static.

I have Ft Monroe in my Pro-96 and I'll check when I go to work tomorrow. I live a bit too far to get a good signal from Fort Monroe at home. Can get the base station, but not the mobils.

Thanks- They may have moved to NOB Norfolk system or Langley-not sure, but would not be surprised. I will pay attention to Hampton also, they may have joined that system, but Hampton is not digital yet.

Well, I sat with Fort Monroe locked into my 96 at work today. Still not real close to the post, but closer than at home. I heard maybe two transmissions and some breaks in the squelch.

I know that the Fort isn't real busy, but figured they'd at least announce retreat and such. Didn't hear any of that..

Now all that is needed is to find out where they are at. May take the 246 out there one day and see if the close call can ferret out something.
