En Route

Usually When An Officer Says "I'm 10-19" means that dispatch has gave him a location or call to go to and "10-19" means that the officer is En Route To The Scene.. It's a simple complex way to say "I'm on my way"

Yes, I've searched the internet, but couldn't find anything...one of these days I'll just have to ask one of the officers I guess. I was curious as they also use the 10 codes at the same time...I just heard a unit after a traffic stop say "I'm 10-8 Code Ida Robert.

Usually, they use those codes to tell dispatch how they handled the call. Example.. HBO=Handled By Officer. I'm not sure what any other codes mean. But that's a start!

Hope this helps!

Thanks. That may be it. I've only heard them use the Codes IR and OR along with the 10 codes.
